The Lewis Electric Guitar

These guitars became a legend in their own time, used by some of the hottest players in rock. The big appeal of the Lewis, besides its exceptional craftsmanship was the 24 fret configuration which allowed more playing in the mandolin range on the guitar. This guitar cannot be created today because of the wood used comes from the sixties, the maker has left the building, and would be too expensive to recreate, one estimate was over $20,000.
